Got a Second Job! benefits for the pup!

Today after the dog park I swung by a local doggie groomer that my family use to take our family dog. Thought I'd take Mollie to get a bath and saw that they were hiring. Well I thought WHAT THE HEY! So I applied. They called me to tell me that Mollie was done so I went to pick her up.

Lady said, come train on Monday! woot woot! ALSO Mollie gets free baths! And I'm hoping discounted boarding!

YAY SECOND JOB!

I'm going to be working the front desk. It shall be wonderful! And I believe Mollie will be able to come join me at work. WHICH would save a shit ton of money for me. YAY!

Lets get to work! oh and Mollie has her first day of school on Monday as well.

SO TO THE DREAM:

Last night I had a dream, a good omen I think...I hope. In this dream Mollie and I were in this post apocalyptic world/almost planet of the apes-ish, anyway, Mollie and I were the last of the "good side". We spent the days hiding under sand blankets (whatever those are, they were in the dream...it was kinda like slipping in between the sand). Mollie was my companion (like the direwolf from game of thrones!). and our story was an epic one. We ran back and forth hiding and sometimes fighting the bad guys but we were always side by side (even now we are side by side as I type this).

I think we are gonna make it through this moving crazy ness.

We are poor and weary travelers, men of the road...

Maybe not men of the road, but we are woman and dog on the go.

Hey all!

Its been awhile I KNOW! Mollie is starting school next monday! Puppy K. She did very well in her crate last night, but the barking and moaning when I have to go and she has to stay in her crate is just exhausting. But a dog is a dog is a dog.

I've been in our new apartment for about a month and a half, nearly two months and I still feel so unsettled. I'm not sure what to do. I've discussed it with my roommate. She doesnt want to leave but she doesnt want to stay either (at least those are the vibes I'm getting.) I feel so sad about all of this. Mollie is helping in that sadness...mainly b/c she doesnt give me a chance to sit down and feel sorry for myself.

We have made the choice to move out of these apartments at the end of the month. I had a really good talk with my older sister about where I could go. She is taking care of it, which is very difficult for my controlling self to allow. haha.

I've moved so much in the last two years. I am so tired and want to find a place that I can settle down in, at least until i finish undergrad. Everything is so expensive. I know I need to find a second job. I am just afraid that come next semester I'll be taking a full load of classes and I just don't know if I can handle two jobs, a puppy, and school. I dunno maybe I can.

Mollie vs. Dottie the Goat

Hey you guyyssss!

I hope all of you are doing well. Mollie and I have made it through some rough patches but things are looking up. To date Mollie has destroyed:
1 bathroom door
A set of blinds
and
2 crates

I have had many a night where I almost convinced myself that bringing Mollie home was a mistake. But of course she always proves me wrong.

Oct. 2 was the Blessing of the animals at the church, (this is the day she ate a set of blinds). It was a magical moment to be surrounded by all these animals in one place. Most were dogs, then you have your cats then your rats/guinea pigs rodents etc. then you have the lone turtle and then you have DOTTIE. THE. GOAT!

Mollie being the puppy she is thought that Dottie was just another friendly doggie who wanted to play with Mollie. Mollie did not know that goats play rough games (head butting).

Mollie ran up to Dottie exclaiming "OH DOTTIE! you poor thing! what have they done to you?" Mollie was so sure her goatness was a plague to Dottie's true doggie identity.

well...

Dottie the goat reared back, and WHAM!

Mollie flys backwards after Dottie has headbutted her across the yard.

Course all the animal parents laughed...

Mollie wasnt quite sure what to think.

So in conclusion...Mollie is learning loads! :)

-Hannah- PS Mollie will be 7months old next week! YAY!
